While
SUP racing is important to her she also enjoys expeditions which
allow her to further push the limits of the sport by exploring new
areas on her SUP. She was the first to SUP the 750km from Whitehorse
to Dawson in the Yukon, as well as the first to SUP with a group of people from Koh
Lanta to Koh Phi Phi in Thailand, as well as be the first to complete
a 6 day canoe route on a SUP in Algonquin park in Toronto. Most recently along with 10 other paddlers she completed a SUP paddle expedition from Vancouver to Victoria, BC for the SUP 4 Men's Health Foundation.
Lina is also a certified school teacher and has taught outdoor education and physical education in China, and BC.
